Arin Connell received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Emory University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in developmental psychopathology at the University of Oregon Child and Family Center, where he is currently a research scientist. His research interests include understanding the etiology of internalizing disorders and co-occurring problems in children and adolescents, and translating developmental models into effective intervention and prevention practices. He is also interested in the application of statistical modeling techniques, including latent growth and growth mixture modeling analyses, to longitudinal and prevention trial datasets. A recent Klingenstein Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Depression supports the development and pilot testing of a depression-focused adaptation of the Family Check-Up for families with adolescents experiencing depression.
